Amanda has worked for various non-profits in Michigan and Oregon, focusing on providing services to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and teen dating violence. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master's in Social Work and holds a LMSW. During graduate school, she was a dual-enrolled clinical social work student at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at the Mayo Clinic, she received training in providing clinical counseling interventions to chronically ill patients across the lifespan. 

Amanda believes in the power of trauma-informed care, which inspired her to seek training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and open Jupiter Healing, LLC. She holds an RYT 200 certificate from the South Okanagan Yoga Academy, which allows for her unique approach to combining psychotherapy and yoga with clients. Amanda is excited to provide trauma-informed care to support the mental health care goals of her clients. Working as a team with her clients, she will help develop a personalized treatment plan according to your individual needs.
